Super Ball Juggling, by Don Nguyen, is “the next Flappy Bird”, according to The Internet. The reason? It’s by the same developer, it’s got the same 8-bit style graphics, and it’s insanely frustrating – possibly even moreso than Flappy Bird. Nevertheless, those seemingly-impossible high scores that litter Game Center are actually (for the most part) very much possible. Read on for some tips and tricks for Super Ball Juggling!
Much like Flappy Bird, this game can inspire multiple rage quits and phone-throws, so take a break from it often. Play often, but when you feel yourself get frustrated, ragey and irritated, shut the game off for an hour or two to give your “mental muscle” some time to recover. Come back to the game later and you will be surprised at how well you do.
Timing is everything when it comes to kicking the balls. In this case, you should do your kick when the ball is right over the head of the soccer player, but not in front of their face – still above their face. This changes a little bit depending on how high the ball is kicked.
You kick the ball higher or lower depending on how much time there is between your tap of the screen, and when the ball hits your player’s foot. If you tap the screen early, the ball will barely rise. If you tap the screen very close to the point of contact, the ball will rise higher. Learn how to control the height of the ball via practice, and if you can time the two of your players together, you will be golden.
If you really want to go for a high score run, get one of your friends who plays the game, and have your friend tap the phone or tablet on one side, while you tap the phone or tablet on the other side, so that each one of you only has to concentrate on one side. That’s how it’s possible to get scores in the hundreds and even in the thousands in this game.
