Swing (Ketchapp) – Tips, Tricks, Cheats, How to Beat, and Strategy Guide

Swing is a new game by Ketchapp where your goal is to swing from one platform to the other without falling. To do this, you wait for your character to back up to the right distance away from the end of the platform. Then you tap and he’ll or she’ll swing to the next one, but judging the distance correctly is the difference between making it to the next one and falling and ending your run. Read on for some tips and tricks for Swing by Ketchapp!

When trying to judge the distance it’s best to lean a little bit far. It’s a lot easier to miss the platform because you stopped too close, rather than too far; the game tends to be a lot more forgiving on the far side of the platform; meaning, it’s easier to make it and successfully stand on the next platform.

As you earn more and more points, the platform will change elevations more and more, which will rapidly throw off your effort to judge the distance if you’re just judging by length. When you really look at it though, picture the rope itself and its distance, and you’ll find it much easier to judge these distances as well. When the platform is lower, it can be even easier to hit the next platform due to starting above it.

Gems are the currency of the game, and with gems you can earn new characters. New characters have a difference appearance, but not a different performance. You can also earn one of the new characters by liking the game on Facebook.

Often after a round ends, you will earn a free gift of gems; this is based on a time interval. In addition, when you see the earn free gems button, hit said button and an ad video will appear. After the video is done, you will earn an extra amount of gems. Save up these gems for long enough and you will be able to purchase new characters much more quickly.

The main difference between one character and another is that the background will be different, as will (sometimes) the platforms that you hang the rope from and fly off of. Pick your character based around what background helps you focus best; often, the background can be a bit too dark or a bit too low-contrast to be able to see it properly when the phone is dim or when it’s dark outside.
