To do as much damage as you possibly can to an enemy, draw the longest line between identical icons that you can. The icon underneath your character is the one that has to match with other icons. If you run out of good matches, you can still do one, two or three at a time, but the more you match, the bigger of a multiplier that you can make.
You’ll earn loads of bonuses throughout the game, whether they be for actions that you have accomplished within the game itself or simply for a special event or for logging in. You won’t earn them unless you hit up the gift box, which appears under the “Gift” icon on the main menu area. Go here and hit “accept all” to claim your gifts, and keep hitting it until every page of gifts is cleared out.
This, of course, will load you up with new party members and gear. If you have already equipped common characters, take their equipment away. Then edit your party, arrange your party members by rarity, and add them from top to bottom so that the rarest are all in your active party, and the next rarest show up in your passive party. Then start equipping them again.
Add as many friends as you possibly can. At te beginning of a battle you can add a friend to help you in the battle, using their leader card. The more friends you have, the more options you have for who to add to help you in the battle.
If you have a large number of characters that you need to get rid of, but at the same time you also want to level up your own party members, go to the party menu and train your party. Be sure to equip guardians as well. If you have two of the same hero, then you can Limit Break them to increase their stats as well as to increase their maximum experience level.
