Tekken Card Tournament – Tips and Cheats: The Strategy Guide

Tekken Card Tournament is a card battling game for browsers, iOS, Android, and Kindle. It’s one of the more innovative card battling games on the App Store, in that it’s much more like real-world card battling games – probably because it’s influenced by the actual TCT. That means there’s far more strategy to it than to the usual iOS card battling games. Read on for some tips and tricks for Tekken Card Tournament!

-You’ll have three moves in each battle: focus, strike and block. Knowing when to use each of them is key.
-You and your opponent will generally both focus early on in battle. After focusing enough for a few cards, start spamming blocks until they attack you. Right after their strike is a good time to strike, because usually that’s when they will focus.

-If you get an opponent who likes spamming blocks, don’t block more than two times in a row because then both of your cards will be discarded. If you suspect that they will block a third time in a row, hit focus, then on the fourth move, attack because generally they’re less likely to try to block again.
-You’ll get better cards as you move on in the game, get better card packs and beat other players. Go to your card management screen and replace your weak cards with the stronger cards or else they won’t be put into use.

-Credits are the most important form of currency in this game (and, consequently, the premium type of currency). Hit the “free” button in the store to watch advertisement videos for free credits. It’s slow earnings but it adds up over time.
-Save your credits for more expensive card packs, or else if you buy too many cheap card packs, you’ll just end up with a glut of equal-strength cards. Better to have less, but stronger, cards, and build up a higher quantity of stronger cards later on.

-You can scan real life cards into the game and use those, too, so if you play TCT or have friends who do, use your cards or borrow their cards and scan them into the game.
-Search on Google for cards that you can scan into the game, as well. Search something like Tekken Card QR or Tekken Card Serial Codes, and you’ll be sure to find something useful.
