The Cube: What’s Inside? is a new idle game for the iOS and Android platforms by Voodoo where the goal is to destroy small cubes in order to clear out the entire big cube and get the treasure that’s inside. You can destroy them manually, let implements such as hammers and pickaxes do it for you, or both, while making a ton of money and buying more and more upgrades to further increase your riches. Read on for some tips and tricks for The Cube: What’s Inside?!
One thing that the game doesn’t explain is the absolute fastest way to manually destroy a cube. The game says to tap, but what you really should do is swipe over the cube with one finger. You’ll destroy anything that’s underneath your finger, so swipe in circles over the cube and you’ll earn money and open treasure chests far more quickly than you would if you just tap on the blocks that make up the cube. TL;DR – Swipe, don’t tap.
Aside from automated destruction, the main use of the automatic cube-blasting weapons is to earn offline income. The first purchase will destroy X cubes every 10 seconds (more cubes for each successive weapon that you unlock), then with each upgrade the time will be cut down by 1 second (9, 8, 7 etc) until you hit one second. Then it will be tenths of a second (0.9, 0.8, 0.7 etc) until the highest upgrade level, which is X cubes every 0.1 second. Keep the upgrades flowing to maximize leveling speed and offline income.
You earn offline income while the game isn’t active, but you can also earn it right away if you don’t mind cheating at the game. Just go to the date and time settings and set the time ahead by however much you want (an hour, a day, a month, etc). Then go back to the game and you will earn all of your offline income for that period of time at the same time. Then buy all of the upgrades that you can afford and do it all over again.
Once you finish doing this, close out of the game completely, then set your time back to normal. Then open the game back up, and when you open the game up, hit the level up button (if you haven’t already when you were doing the cheat), and the blocks will start auto-clearing again, and you’ll keep all of the money that you earned by cheating in the first place.
The ads can get to be a bit much at times, but the ads go away when you don’t have a data connection. Play the game in an area with little-to-no service (or play the game while your device is in airplane mode for the same effect) and the ads will stop, but you won’t have any 2x video bonus options. Buy the ad-free experience (at $2, the price is very cheap) and you’ll get rid of all of the mandatory ads while still keeping all of the optional bonus ad-video options.
