The Good Dinosaur: Dino Crossing – Tips, Tricks, Cheats, How to Beat, and Strategy Guide

The Good Dinosaur: Dino Crossing is a new Froggeresque game for the iOS and Android based off of the new Disney Pixar movie The Good Dinosaur. You can play either in level-based gameplay or in endless gameplay as Arlo who, along with his caveboy, is trying to run as far as possible, amidst the hoard of obstacles that crowd the path. Read on for some tips and tricks for The Good Dinosaur: Dino Crossing!

Unlike similar games such as Crossy Road, you get two hits before your round is done. After you get hit the first time, Arlo will go away and you’ll only be running as the caveboy, Spot. After Spot gets hit, you can either let the round end, or you can watch a video to restart the round again.

Berries are the currency of the game. The quickest way to get more berries is to hit the video icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. Do this and you will get double berries for half an hour. Also, every so often a Berry Bonanza will open up, which is an endless runner level but with all of the berries replaced with big berry bunches.

If you are having trouble with the main journey levels, go to the endless mode and practice for awhile, because endless mode will throw randomly generated levels at you, with a blend of all of the obstacles that you’ll face in different levels. Likewise, if the endless mode is giving you too much of a hard time, go to the journey levels and play them again.

Keep an eye out for power ups to appear along the levels. The shield will make you invincible for about ten seconds. The block of ice will cause time to slow down for a little while. These will make it much easier to pass tougher stages, especially the final level (level 10).

Right now there is nothing that berries can be spent on, really. However, expect other characters from The Good Dinosaur to be added to the game later on. Save up a lot of berries so that you can unlock as many of them as possible at the same time.
