The Noodle is a new game for the iOS and Android platforms where you use a wooden pipe to catch a noodle using a wooden pipe. You can move the pipe up, down, left or right, and you have to deal with all kinds of trickery and deceit in order to catch the noodle and move onto the next level. Read on for some tips and tricks for The Noodle!
You can move the pipe left and right in order to catch the noodle, but you can move the pipe up and down for even more control. Start with the pipe as high up as possible, so that you can have as much room to work with as possible in order to maximize your margin of error; some levels will require you to have it down to begin with, though.
Some noodles are almost impossible to catch because they move too quickly. A careful, slow move of the pipe from down to up can gently toss the noodle in the air. If you move it a little bit too much, then the noodle will bounce way too high or too far off to the side, causing it to fall off the level. Move it just a tiny little bit in order to make it bounce slowly. Then catch it; it will be easier than it would have been otherwise.
Some of the levels have more than one location for the noodle to come out of, and the noodle can come out of a random location out of a number of possible locations (i.e. two or four different locations). If you don’t know where it’s going to come from, then a way to get an easy win in the level is to camp out under one of the possible exits and just keep hitting reload until it falls into the wooden pipe.
The ads can get to be a bit much sometimes, so if you keep failing, are sick of seeing ads, and don’t want to look at them anymore, then turn on airplane mode on your phone to shut off all of the data, or if you’re playing on a tablet, just disconnect from all wifi networks. Ads will quit loading, so you can fail as often as you want without the ad bombs.
Once you get farther into the game a bit, you’ll get to the point where you go from a hard level to an easy level back to another hard level. You’ll also have hints pop up sometimes when you fail on a level over and over, but you don’t have to use the hint right away. You can save it for another level, so save it for one of the harder ones.
