The Sandbox Evolution, also known as The Sandbox 2, is the sequel to the smash hit game The Sandbox for the iOS and Android platforms. You can create your own world in 2D, making platforming levels, worlds filled with whatever creature you want, or simply to make the closest replica of hell that you can think of. You can play platforming levels, make your own levels, collect mana and karma, and then play other people’s levels and in their worlds. Read on for some tips and tricks for The Sandbox Evolution!
Right from the beginning you will want to explore other worlds and save them so that you can play with them offline and edit them. While you can post modified versions of someone else’s work, do NOT post other peoples’ work as your own or deface other people’s work. Be polite and courteous, as you would want others to do the same thing for your work.
You will need mana to unlock new elements, so complete the daily quests and the campaigns (even the tutorial ones to earn more overall mana). Daily quests are free, while campaigns cost mana, but are likely to earn you a lot more mana than you had before. If you run out of mana, you can also make elements the old fashioned way; by mixing multiple base elements together and having them merge into one combined element.
During side scrolling platformer levels, it is not absolutely required to smash enemies with your club – you can avoid them instead – but it is useful. Put your main focus on smashing elements around you then, as you can break entirely through some walls and platforms, putting you out of the way of dangerous situations or at least giving you a little bit more room to work with in order to make it to the end of the level
Read the description of a world if you are having trouble beating it. People who play this game tend to add tips and tricks for a level to the description, so in it the creator may have added something that you didn’t think of at a different time that you played it.
Under other people’s worlds, go to the top tab to see the best of the best. If you want a chance at making it up to the top tab, use as many elements as you can, arrange them in a detailed and organized fashion, and make a virtual world that’s legitimately as good as or better than the best of the best.
