Throne Wars: Resource Guide – How to get more wood, stone and iron

Throne Wars is a new 3D-tinged MMO strategy game for the iOS and Android platforms, and with the upcoming release of the iPhone 5s and 5c, don’t be surprised to see it get a LOT more downloads. Like all games of its type, Throne Wars has resources that are required in order to train troops, construct buildings and do research, while will then allow you to construct better buildings and train more troops. The simplest way to increase your resource numbers is to level up your Iron Mine (for iron), Stone Quarry (for stone) and Woodcutter (for wood). Each one of these buildings produces resources on an hourly basis, and every time that you level these buildings up, you’ll increase the amount of resources that they earn per hour.

You can only hold a certain amount of resources at one time, so increase this amount by upgrading your Storage. Your Storage building has a maximum amount of every resources, and a certain (much smaller) amount of protected resources, meaning that no matter how many times you get attacked and how strong the opposing army, these resources can’t be stolen.

Raid other kingdoms and figure out which ones make for easy resource gains. Be sure to take plenty of carts with you (you need the market to train carts) so that you can carry back a large quantity of resources at one time. Abandoned settlements (owned by players who no longer play) are the best for resources, because they are completely unprotected yet they continue to produce resources.

Many heroes will provide resource boosts if you make them the mayor of your town. Possibilities for special abilities include stone production, wood production, iron production, or storage space. Use silver to level up your heroes in order to increase the size of the bonuses.

Research Administration, and you’ll be able to build an entirely new settlement. The more settlements that you have, the more resource buildings you can build. You can then use carts to ship them back and forth between settlements.

Complete quests to earn resources quickly. The majority of your quests will award you with wood, iron and stone when you complete them, making these a very quick and easy way to maximize resources.
