Tracked is a new game by Voodoo for the iOS and Android platforms. It’s similar to Go Plane in that you fly around and ram missiles into each other while they try to track you, but it’s more difficult and contains more additions, such as a currency system and various power-ups. You can unlock skins and go for the highest scores possible. Read on for some tips and tricks for Tracked by Voodoo!
When a missile blows up, coins will pop out for you to collect. If a missile nearly collides with you, it will turn gold. Once it turns gold, destroying it will yield far more coins than it otherwise would have, so try to turn as many missiles gold as possible before you get them blown up by obstacles or other missiles.
Also, when a missile executes a near-miss on you, it will start to fill a bar on the left side of the screen. Do enough near-misses close to each other and it will fill all the way up and send you into fever mode. When you’re in fever mode, all of the missiles the run into your trail will blow up. You’ll also be able to crash through circular obstacles and blow them up, as opposed to having them blow you up.
The coins will allow you to upgrade the power-ups that you get. The upgrades will have a different effect for each power-up – for example, the magnet and the shield ones will increase their range. The upgrades to the guns will increase the shots per second, as well as cause you to shoot more bullets at a time, thus widening your shot range.
The ads can be a little bit annoying, but there are two ways to get rid of them. One of them is to make the two-dollar in-app purchase that will allow you to go ad-free forever. The other is to make them go away by setting your phone or tablet into airplane mode or turn off the data when you play. This will prevent you from getting the restart when you die, though.
You can unlock skins, but you can’t unlock them with coins, only actions. For example, the alien UFO can be unlocked by earning 250 coins in a single game. The kiwi can be unlocked by ramming 30 missiles into obstacles. The tongue-out smiley face can be unlocked by using five second-chances overall (not in a row, just total).
