Trivia Crack 2 is the third game in the series, oddly enough, following the original Trivia Crack and Trivia Crack Kingdoms. Your goal in this game is to beat your friends and random people in trivia games, fighting for supremacy in the categories of art, science, history, entertainment, sports, and geography. You can play in standard games against people and other special games such as the tower challenge and daily challenges. Read on for some tips and tricks for Trivia Crack 2!
The standard mode works similarly in this game to how it did in the original game. You spin the wheel for questions, and if you answer enough of them correctly, then you get to pick a character. If you earn all six characters in a standard-mode game, then you win, but if the other player earns the six characters before you do, then they win.
Tower Duel is a new game mode that works similarly to Who Want To Be A Millionaire. For every five questions that you answer correctly, you will unlock a new level of the tower. From there, you can either choose to stop at that level, or to continue on to try to make it to the next level. If you stop, then you earn the crown reward associated with that tower floor. If you keep going and you lose, then you lose all of your crowns and have to start back over.
The daily challenge plays similarly to the original mode, but with the one-player action of the Tower Duel mode. Your goal here is to answer as many questions in a row as you can, but unlike the Tower Duel, which has its own unique questions that are outside of categories. The more you answer in a row, the bigger your prize is, but you have to answer enough of them to even qualify for the prize. You can pay 100 gold to start back over from where you left off if you lose, or pay nothing and start from the beginning.
While the Tower Duel is a great way to earn crowns, another great way to earn more crowns is to complete the given tasks in the Task menu. Crowns are the experience points of the game, and as you earn them, you level up and unlock more characters. You’ll typically have around four tasks available at a time. Once you complete all of them, you’ll unlock more tasks to do, so that you can continue earning rewards.
Team mode is one of the new features in this game that differentiates it from the first two games. Join a team and you can compete against other teams for dominance in the rankings. The best part about being in a team though is that you can send lives to your teammates and receive lives in return, so that you can keep playing for a much longer period of time than you normally would be able to otherwise.
