uu is another one of the new minimalist apps by General Adaptive, the makers of aa, th, rr and a host of other two-letter addiction machines for the iOS and Android. Much like the other ones, this involves trying to connect dots to a central circle, except in this one, you connect multiple dots and multiple rows of dots in specific orders, and as usual, if you hit the other dots, you lose. Read on for some tips and tricks for uu!
The game starts off easy but it gets very hard very fast. When it gets tough, the first thing to remember is to slow it down and don’t try to finish the stage right away. Focus, let a few extra dots go by if you need to before you try to connect, and find the exact right point to make it work at.
Ironically, on some stages you will actually have to be fast, because you will have to connect dots with VERY LITTLE space in between them. Use more than one finger at a time to tap if you have to. You can’t tap with two fingers at the exact same time but you can tap very closely one after the other, just as long as you are careful not to run the dots into each other.
When they start changing directions, you have to focus even harder, but when you get to the point where your own tap changes the direction of the spinning circle, that requires some extra strategy. You’ll want to time your tap a bit later than your instincts tell you to because the spinning reverses direction immediately. This stage screws with your mind rapidly.
When the stage changes speed, wait until it goes to the slower speed and then fire the balls off. Firing at a slower speed makes it much easier to land an accurate batch of balls into tight spaces, unlike with the faster speeds. Time the speed swaps first, though, and know how much time you have in the slow speed mode.
You can purchase the ability to play ad free, which is useful because the ads can get a bit annoying sometimes. If you want to play ad free for free you can throw your phone into Airplane Mode, but it’s not recommended because the ads are how the developer makes a living and keeps the games coming.
