Void Tyrant is a new card RPG for the iOS and Android platform, with a very blackjack-esque style of gameplay. Your goal is to go through levels of tougher and tougher enemies, and to use everything to your advantage to win, from elements to Guildins to gems and everything in between.
Read on for some tips and tricks for Void Tyrant!
Being that the battles are based off of blackjack, they can’t be rushed like they can in most mobile RPGs. Strategies that work in real blackjack work here, too. Try to get as close as you can to 21 without actually hitting 21.
To prevent busting, a good minimum number to stop at is 16-18. Don’t draw another card after that. Stay and see if your opponent either finishes with a lower number or overshoots the goal and hands you the win.
Aside from numbers, though, check out the kind of cards that you have, and use them to your advantage even if they seem like a disadvantage. Use your consumable cards when you get them. They cost less to use than other cards do, but holding onto them will lead to a deck clog.
When you get to the last battle before a boss fight, save your consumables for the boss battle. But anytime before that, clear out your deck so that you can make room for other cards.
EP is your energy in this game, and management of EP is different than energy management in other games. It costs EP to play cards, so try to keep your EP somewhat high, but don’t horde it to such a level that you end up losing because you didn’t play enough cards.
If you need to earn EP, then remember to use your defend skill. Not only will you take less damage against enemies, but you’ll regain EP for successfully defending against attacks.
Guildins are one of the forms of currency in the game that you can use to buy upgrades. You can use it to buy gear and upgrades, but resist the urge, because you can earn a ton of gear just by being victorious in battles.
Instead, use your Guildins on upgrading non-gear bits, such as your training grounds. And you can save your Guildins for when you unlock new classes. The Knight is your first class, but Priest and Ranger show up later, so you can wait until you unlock those to use your Guildins.
Complete missions to earn more Guildins. You have a number of missions to unlock at a time, so use them to earn more Guildins, and then hoard the Guildins for when you need them.
the maximum you try to reach is 12, not 21.
Well. There are a few mistakes with this. Ranger is actually the Duelist. Don’t hord your guildens. You can’t buy characters with it. As they say, “Instead, use your guildens on non-gear upgrades.” No. Buy the good starting gear. Changes the way you play. Spend them as you can. Max is 12 not 21.
This has to be the worst review I have seen.
