Westbound: A Pioneer Adventure is a new city building game for the iOS and Android platforms. It might be new, but it brings back the time when these games were all the rage, back in 2010 and 2011. In this game you play as a group of pioneers from the olden days, with accents and dialects that are a little bit stereotypical of the time, and your goal is to carve out a space in the canyon and build a great little town. Read on for some tips and tricks for Westbound: A Pioneer Adventure!
In this game, a lot of stuff quite a bit of time to complete, beginning right at the start of the game. This can tend to suck, but if you want to mitigate the wait time, set the time ahead on your phone or tablet and then go back to the game. Set it ahead by about double the length of time that it takes to complete the task.
The reason for that is that sometimes when you do this trick, the server won’t register all of the time that you set it ahead by, so double the length of time just to make sure. Once you do that and go back to the game, then after you collect everything you can set the time back to normal in the date and time menu, and when you go back to the game all will be as it was.
Any time that you are looking for something to do or for where to go next, go to the quests on the left side of the screen and see what there is to complete. These quests typically earn you the most experience and the best rewards, and thus are good for farming for gold, pickaxes, silver and tonic.
Of course, if you want to get any of these four items for free, go to the in app purchases store and pick the “Earn (blank)” option on the far left, blank being whatever of the four resources you want to earn. An offer wall will pop up and if you complete offers, you will earn free gold, silver, pickaxes or tonic, whichever one you choose.
They are through Tapjoy, so a way to earn even more is to go to the Tapjoy website and login. Then once you do that search for Westbound: A Pioneer Adventure, and find the offers related to the game, and complete them (they will usually involve downloading apps). All of these particular ones are free so these can earn you a ton of resources.
