Words of Wonder is a puzzle game by Disney that originally came out on Facebook, and has just recently been released on the iOS platform. Your goal is to find words in a very similar manner to Scramble With Friends; however, many of the gameplay elements will be very familiar to veterans of Candy Crush Saga, such as hundreds of levels to play with different goals and different boards, as well as different obstacles in every level. The game starts off easy, but as you go on, it continues to get tougher and tougher. Read on for some tips and tricks for Words of Wonder!
You can make words that are anywhere between two and eight letters long. The longer the word that you make, the bigger bonus you will earn. For example, if you make a word that is four letters long, one of the tiles on your board will turn into a double score tile, and will blow up all of the letter tiles around it.
Try to make an 8 letter word if at all possible, though. If you make an eight letter word, then your entire board will be filled with double and triple score tiles, and making a word with multiple combo tiles will cause you to blow up a massive chunk of the board. If you make an eight letter word, it will end up being almost impossible to lose the round that you are currently playing.
You start the game with a set amount of energy, and every time that you play a round, 10 of your energy will be used. You can either wait for it to return on its own, buy more energy, or get more energy for free simply by setting the time forward on your phone or tablet. Obviously this won’t work on Facebook, but this will work on the brand-new iOS versions of the game.
If you don’t want to go messing around with the time on your device, however, connect the game to Facebook and you will be able to ask anybody who plays the game for some free energy. If you don’t have any other friends to play, you can always add more people who do play. An easy way to find people is on the App Store comments section, the comment page of this article, Or on any Facebook fan page for the game, be it official or unofficial.
